Iwoka@school Colombia The dropout rate of children from educationally disadvantaged families increases in the third primary class. Many of these dropouts never return to school, which massively reduces their chances in life. With the proven Iwoka tutoring programme, the Limmat Foundation trains young people to support at-risk primary school pupils. In the new 2025 sub-project, teachers are familiarised with the proven training methods. In future, the teachers paid by the school will be able to train the young tutors themselves. Nutri Futuro

Nutri Futuro Colombia Malnutrition and undernourishment affect children even into adulthood. With this project, the Limmat Foundation is financing a nutrition programme which is linked with appropriate care. The beneficiary children live in extreme poverty. They have no access to public support; their parents try to earn some money in the informal sector and therefore often have to leave their children alone. The programme offers these children food, protecation and support in the important years of early childhood.
