Strategic Partnerships: Going Further Together

19.02.2026

In the social sector, much is said about strategic partnerships, but the central challenge is not simply forming an alliance - it is managing it as a living relationship, capable of generating real impact.

The projects department of the Limmat Foundation promotes collaborations that go beyond formal agreements, transforming them into concrete and sustainable action. It’s about bringing together foundations, social organizations, the public sector, companies, universities, and community leaders to move from working in parallel to truly working together, sharing resources, knowledge, and methodologies.

An example of this approach is the partnership between two organisations in Venezuela: Asociación Salud y Familia, focused on women’s workforce training, and Fundación Eugenio Mendoza which contributes its well-established entrepreneurship methodology. This collaboration aims to strengthen institutional capacity and promote employment training processes that open pathways to sustainable entrepreneurship for its beneficiaries.

This joint model allows to optimize resources, multiply the impact of each project, and ensure consistency. Thanks to the commitment of the Limmat Foundation’s partners and donors, each initiative becomes part of a collective effort that generates meaningful and lasting change.
