Empowering women through vocational training in Bolivia

05.11.2026

In La Paz, Bolivia, CEFIM is expanding opportunities for women through a dual vocational training model that combines theoretical learning with practical experience in companies.

The programme offers specialized training in the hospitality sector and elderly care, equipping women with professional skills that open doors to employment. Coaching, soft skills development and collaboration with companies further strengthen their prospects for entering the labour market.

With around 90% of participants securing formal employment, the programme demonstrates how practical education can create lasting opportunities, strengthen women’s economic independence and contribute to a more inclusive labour market.

Through its partnership with CEFIM, the Limmat Foundation helps advance vocational education and open new pathways for women to shape their professional futures.
